Analytics Advertising tracking
Use of Google Analytics
We use the web analytics service Google Analytics on our website provided by Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland; “Google”).
The data processing serves the purpose of analysing this website and its visitors as well as for marketing and advertising purposes. For this purpose, Google will use the information obtained on behalf of the operator of this website to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide further services related to website and internet use to the website operator. The following information may be collected, among others: IP address, date and time of page view, click path, information about the browser you use and the device you use, pages visited, referrer URL (website from which you accessed our website), location data, purchasing activities. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics is not merged with other Google data.
Google Analytics uses technologies such as cookies, web storage in the browser and tracking pixels which enable an analysis of your use of the website. The information generated thereby about your use of this website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. There is no adequacy decision of the EU Commission for the USA. Data transfer takes place, among other things, on the basis of Standard Contractual Clauses as appropriate safeguards for the protection of personal data, available at: https://policies.google.com/privacy/frameworks and https://business.safety.google/adsprocessorterms/. Both Google and US government authorities may have access to your data. Your data may be linked by Google with other data, such as your search history, your personal accounts, your usage data from other devices and all other data Google has about you.
IP anonymisation is activated on this website. This means that your IP address is shortened by Google within member states of the European Union or in other states party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area beforehand. Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there.
The processing of your personal data is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR due to our overriding legitimate interest in designing the website in line with demand and in a targeted manner. You have the right to object at any time, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to the processing of personal data concerning you.
You can prevent the collection of data generated by Google Analytics and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) and the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available at the following link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de
To prevent data collection and storage by Google Analytics across devices, you can set an opt-out cookie. Opt-out cookies prevent future collection of your data when visiting this website. You must opt out on all systems and devices used so that this takes effect comprehensively. If you delete the opt-out cookie, requests will be sent to Google again. If you click here, the opt-out cookie will be set: Disable Google Analytics.
Further information on terms of use and data protection can be found at https://www.google.com/analytics/terms/de.html or at https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/ as well as at https://policies.google.com/technologies/cookies?hl=de.
We use the online advertising programme “Google Ads” on our website and, in this context, conversion tracking (visitor action evaluation). Google conversion tracking is an analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland).
When you click on an ad placed by Google, a conversion tracking cookie is stored on your computer. These cookies have limited validity, do not contain personal data and therefore are not used for personal identification. If you visit certain pages of our website and the cookie has not yet expired, Google and we can recognise that you clicked on the ad and were redirected to that page. Each Google Ads customer receives a different cookie. Therefore, there is no possibility that cookies can be tracked across the websites of Ads customers.
The information collected using the conversion cookie is used to create conversion statistics. We learn the total number of users who clicked on one of our ads and were redirected to a page tagged with a conversion tracking tag. However, we do not receive any information that personally identifies users.
Your data may be transmitted to servers of Google LLC in the USA. There is no adequacy decision of the EU Commission for the USA. Data transfer takes place, among other things, on the basis of Standard Contractual Clauses as appropriate safeguards for the protection of personal data, available at: https://policies.google.com/privacy/frameworks and https://business.safety.google/adscontrollerterms/.
You can disable personalised advertising for you in Google’s ad settings. Instructions can be found at https://support.google.com/ads/answer/2662922?hl=de
Alternatively, you can prevent the use of cookies by third-party providers by visiting the opt-out page of the Network Advertising Initiative at https://www.networkadvertising.org/choices/ and implementing the further opt-out information provided there. You will then not be included in conversion tracking statistics.
Further information and Google’s privacy policy can be found at: https://www.google.de/policies/privacy/
We use the AdSense function of Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland) on our website. The data processing serves the purpose of renting advertising space on the website and addressing website visitors with interest-based advertising in a targeted manner. Using this function, personalised, interest-based ads from the Google Display Network are displayed to visitors of the provider’s website. Google uses cookies that enable an analysis of your use of the website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. Google may transmit this information to third parties where required to do so by law, or where such third parties process the data on Google’s behalf. Google will not associate your IP address with any other data held by Google.
You can permanently disable the use of cookies by Google by following the link below and downloading and installing the plug-in provided there: https://support.google.com/ads/answer/7395996?hl=de. Plug-ins and miscellaneous
Use of social plug-ins using the “two-click solution”
We use plug-ins of social networks on our website by means of the “two-click solution”. Without your express consent, no connections are established to the servers of the social networks and consequently no data is transmitted.
With the standard integration of plug-ins, when you access pages of our website that contain such a plug-in, a link is established between your computer and the servers of the providers of the social network and the plug-in is displayed on the page by communicating with your browser. In this process, both your IP address and the information which of our pages you have visited are transmitted to the provider’s servers. This applies regardless of whether you are registered or logged in with the social network. Transmission also takes place for non-registered or non-logged-in users. If you are also logged in to the Facebook social network, this information is assigned to your personal user account. When using the plug-in functions (e.g. by clicking the button), this information is also assigned to your user account, which you can prevent only by logging out before using the plug-in. In order for you to retain control over your data, we have decided to initially deactivate the corresponding button. You can recognise this by the greyed-out button. Without your express consent - in the form of activating the button - no link is established to the server of the social network and consequently no data is transmitted.
Only when you activate the button does the button become active (highlighted in colour) and a direct connection to the servers of the social network is established.
By activating it, you consent to the transmission of your data to the respective provider of the social network. In particular, both your IP address and the information which of our pages you have visited are transmitted. If you are simultaneously connected to one or more of your social network accounts, the collected information is also assigned to your corresponding profiles. You can prevent this assignment only by logging out of your user accounts with the social networks before visiting our website and before activating the buttons.
The following social networks are integrated using the “two-click function”. Further information on the scope and purpose of data collection and use as well as your related rights and options for protecting your privacy can be found in the linked privacy notices of the providers.

The function displays videos stored on YouTube in an iFrame on the website. The “Enhanced Privacy Mode” option is activated. This means that YouTube does not store any information about visitors to the website. Only when you watch a video is information about this transmitted to YouTube and stored there. Your data may be transferred to the USA. There is no adequacy decision of the EU Commission for the USA. Data transfer takes place, among other things, on the basis of Standard Contractual Clauses as appropriate safeguards for the protection of personal data, available at: https://policies.google.com/privacy/frameworks.
